On Wednesday the 29th, I went with a group of students to the National Young Leaders Day! It was fun and very exciting to go to! My favourite highlight was at the end when Vince Harder got to sing one of his songs including his new one, Sugar Coated. My favourite speaker there was a man called Sala because, he was talking about going through the tough times in life and how it all got better. He talked about one person who believed in him and how they never gave up on him. It was his teacher. I can totally relate to what he went through and I hope people will to. One of the key messages I took away from that experience was that we all need to respect the environment because, you don't know what could happen if New-Zealand was covered with rubbish. Our rubbish. This is why we should always put our rubbish in the bin and keep our environment clean! Anyways, it was a fun time going there and here are some pictures of us going to the NYLD!
Talofa Faith! I am so happy that you had an excellent time at National Young Leaders Day! I can't wait to hear all about it from you in person. Miss Tozer said that she had an excellent day out with you and the group and that you all represented HHS so well. I am very proud to hear that :)
