I am so happy that I have completed my project called, We Are Hornby! 

This project is to convince other parents to bring there kids to this school because, HHS is a warm welcoming learning area for all student.

Q. Which is your favourite musical you have looked at so far?
A. Aladdin

Q. Whats the synopsis (story) of your favorite musical?
A. Long story short. It is about a guy named Aladdin and he wanted to help his mother since they were very poor with no money. He also had a funny monkey I guess it was his pet or friend. He absolutely fell in love with a beautiful princess named Jasmine. They went through a lot of trouble just to be together forever. The villain in this show is Jafar then he got defeated and was never to bother Aladdin and Jasmin's love life again. Oh, and there was a fun cool genie in this show as well.

I like the this show because, its creative and amazing just like Jasmin who is my favourite character in this show and my favourite song in this show is Whole New World.

And that is the end of my musical research!

What Makes A Strong Community? - Writing

Being in a community can really be good for you so, you can connect with others from where you live. Working together as a community is like working together as a team. Hornby is like a community and how they can work together is if they listen, communicate and participate even if no one gets along. You should also get to know each other so you can get along and know what they dislike and like. This is how I think a strong community works.

Q. What does a live performance mean?

A. What a live performance means to me is, people acting/sing on a stage. A performance you see with your own eyes and not on a screen tv or in the cinemas.

Q. What could go wrong in a live performance?

A. Forgetting your lines. Doing the wrong dance moves. Coming in to early or late.

Q. What did you like about this performance?

A. How the actors/characters were very creative with there custom and style.

A musical I really like is Moana. I know it might be old and we've been over that movie now, but I like it because it shows a lot of history, culture, colour and all sorts of things. It also wants to make me believe that if I want to be a good leader, I will need to think what is the best for my team or group.

Q. Name the musical, what is it about, when was it first performed?
A. Matilda. Its about that loves to read books and that is very smart, but her family doesn't care about her at all. The musical I saw was performed around in June 2013.

Q. If you were involved in the show, what will your role be?
A. Honey because she is sweet and amazing.

Year 8 roles and responsibilities!

As a year 8, I will need to be a perfect role model to the year 7’s in HHS. I will also need to use the CARR values wherever I go and represent HHS. My responsibilities are, keeping our environment neat and tidy for all students and staff. Charging my Chromebook everyday so, it’s ready for learning and to be kind at the right place in the right time. My role is mostly to be a student and, to connect with others that are in my class and around me.
